Overview
The Shetty Institute of Technology, popularly known as SIT, was established in the year 2011 to empower budding engineers with technical and entrepreneurial knowledge and skills, and to assist them in having a holistic growth. Located just on the other side of the Ring Road, on Gulbarga Shahabad Highway (NH 150), the college nestles amidst sprawling 17 acres of greenery with a hilly backdrop. The campus breathes fresh air of nature and has vast green pastures, free from pollution and litter. The ambience is ideal for learning, research and living.
The college is an Wi-Fi enabled campus with 10 MBPS Internet connectivity. The college houses the TCS-ION online examination centre in its campus. The college obtains consultancy services from M/s ¡CRIS solutions pvt. Ltd. The college with implements Smart Card based technology solution called Smart Campus with Campus Management International Pvt. Ltd. The college has well qualified and energetic staff and state of art laboratories. The college building is modern, unique and imposing.
Curricular and co-curricular programs form an integral part of the curriculum and help students to have powerful incorporation of theory with practice.
